Türkiye Law No. 7578

Türkiye representation, executed.

When the November 2026 deadline arrives, foreign-source game platforms above 100,000 daily Türkiye access need a representative who handles BTK notices, judicial requests, and child-safety obligations without making mistakes. PlatRep is that representative.

01The law

100,000 daily access. Six months to comply.

Law No. 7578, gazetted on 1 May 2026, requires foreign-source game platforms with more than 100,000 daily accesses from Türkiye to appoint a representative in Türkiye, notify BTK, and publish the representative's contact details on the platform. Noncompliance carries TRY 1M–30M fines and bandwidth-throttling sanctions of up to 50%.

What we actually do
03Why now

Late November is closer than it looks.

Once the law goes effective, the cure clock runs in 30-day windows. Platforms that wait until they receive a BTK notice to appoint a representative are already on the back foot. Onboarding takes weeks; the first wave of enforcement actions will not wait.
